Street Parade 2025: Verbier got Zurich dancing
For its first appearance, Verbier Music took 127 people on board its float, with Chris Liebing as headliner.
On 2 August 2025, the Verbier Music Association took part for the first time in the Zurich Street Parade, one of the world’s biggest electronic music events: 800,000 participants and 29 floats that year.
A float built in six months
A brand-new team, put together in six months, and three days of building. On board: 127 people, a 25,000-watt sound system and, behind the decks, artists from the resort alongside our headliner, Chris Liebing, a leading figure of techno since the 1990s and founder of the CLR label.
Number 3 at the start
Starting near the head of the parade meant the float was filmed by the SRF and Telezüri helicopters: Verbier was on show to the Swiss-German public, on the roof banners as well as at the back, behind the DJ. Four hours of parade, flawless safety and not a single incident.
What’s next
Chris Liebing said he would like to come back in 2026 and get involved in the region’s scene. The association now aims for one event per quarter in Verbier, with the resort’s venues, artists and collectives.
